
Feeling like you just need a day to yourself? Take a Mental Health Day. If you had the flu, you would stay home and take care of your physical health. Why wouldn’t you do the same for your mental health?
Try to take your day off on a Friday so you can luxuriate in a long weekend. Then you have the rest of the weekend uninterrupted! If you have kids, call grandma or a sitter. If you’re married, it’s okay to take a timeout for yourself solo dolo, and NOT feel guilty! If you’re single, it doesn’t mean that your already solo time is being used to focus on you and relax, you need a mental health day too.
